A blank greetings card featuring a special skyline illustration of some of the most iconic and memorable landmarks in South Liverpool's Allerton.
Great as a card for any Beatles fan, or as a card for someone moving to or from Allerton. It could also make a lovely wedding or new home card.
I drew this illustration by hand, using pen and ink, and then digitally manipulated to come up with the final image. It features All Hallows Church, Allerton Manor Golf Club, Allerton Library, All Souls Church, Paul McCarney's childhood home (20 Forthlin Road), the Calder Stones, the Allerton Oak, Allerton Towers' derelict Orangery and a pretty little stretch of shops along Allerton Road.
This is my neighbourhood, and I see many of these landmarks every day. It's part of a growing series of really local skylines I am drawing, featuring different areas of Liverpool.
